5AT - THE BEGINNING.

-I said I’d be starting up the ADC again and then nothing really happened? Well, the wait is finally over.

PEOPLE POWER is a side project I’ve recently created which will be producing a multiple-times-a-week video series entitled 5AT (which stands for 5 Awesome Things) providing one with challenges and awesome things in the world that they should check out!

So make sure you keep yourself attached to this Almost-Daily Challenge blog, because the challenges are resurfacing :)

I know it’s been a ridiculously long time since posting, but I believe that the wait is soon ending, for I am getting the urge to start this up again over this summer. So keep your eyes open for new challenges and adventures to embark upon! Twill be quite exciting.

A film about counter-acting violence and hate with love.

This movie has been a long time coming. I consider it Our Random Acts of Kindness’ second official film: it was begin in October of 2010 and since that time dropped off the radar until about a week ago, when I actually got the time and inspiration to edit it. The main part of the delay was the inspiration: I needed to find the right tone and feel and be in a sort of ‘zone’ in order to get it done. And I think that it worked out well!

So thank you to everyone who submitted photos and/or videos, I know you’ve been waiting a long time but here it finally is! Thanks for being an amazing audience and such a supportive group of people on this blog. To get furtherly involved in this movement, once again remember to check out

DAY 30 : THE NOVEMBER PROJECT

[Apologies for it being slightly late]

What the November project is, as you’ve most likely inferred from the incredibly-out-of-focus camera, is performing an act of kindness and documenting it every single day of November.

Actions ranging from post-it compliments to origami cranes to flower-handing-outs to anonymous notes to free hug t-shirts to picking up trash to planting a tree to donating to a charity to anonymous compliments to helping a friend or neighboor to ANYTHING KINDNESS RELATED.

The goal is to see if you can perform an action a day for a month, and then see where it got you after 30 days of love.

DAY 29 : EPIC DANCE VIDEO COLLABORATION

The Almost-Daily Challenge is hosting a massive online dance video collaboration,

and today’s challenge is for YOU to partake in it.

Can you dance? Do you have a video camera? Are you awesome?

If you answered yes to all of the above questions (and even if you answered “Well I can’t really dance but I can twitch spastically almost on beat”), then you are eligible to participate in ACIDTV’s very first Dance Video Collaboration based on the song “Take On Me” by A-ha!

You can dance to any style in any place with anyone: it’s all completely up to you. all that we ask is that you send the video files to thejimmyd113@gmail.com so that we may edit together an EPIC international dance video of monstrous proportions!
